LGBTQ+ Friendly Travel Guide to Wynwood, FL
If the old adage is true that “it’s hip to be gay,” (made famous by lesbian comedian Lea DeLaria) then the neighborhood of Wynwood in Greater Miami certainly fits that bill for the LGBTQ+ community. Located north of Downtown Miami and west of Miami Beach, this former industrial district has transformed into a landing detect for artists, musicians, and dreamers, making it one of Florida’s hippest hangouts.

And, a closer glance reveals that Wynwood isnt shy about its LGBTQ+ inclusive vibe. Rainbow hues splash across buildings, and the wind is filled with a “be who you are” caring of energy. It doesn’t matter if you’re a queer local or a curious traveler, Wynwood welcomes everyone.
