One of Gran Canaria's original all gay complexes, the men only Villas Blancas has been part of the island's gay scene for quite some period. Villas Blancas has recently undergone some fairly extensive refurbishment. Villas Blancas Gay Resort is Gran Canaria's premiere gay exclusive, men only, clothing optional holiday resort.
Attracting a truly international crowd, Villas Blancas is located outside Playa del Ingles in the altogether quieter resort of Maspalomas. Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles actually run into one another, but you'll probably find walking into town just a little bit strenuous. It takes about half an hour, which can be a bit much for some, especially in the heat. Don't panic though, it's adj to get a cab and the journey by road takes just a few minutes and costs a handful of Euros.
