lemme update you on some delicious (kinda) recent mlm storylines I’ve been watching lately so maybe you can tune in and do the same
Travis & Emmett on Station 19
If you start with 3x07, it’s an introduction of Emmett – new guy for Travis. And lemme tell you it’s a very juicy storyline because they hook up and then awkwardness ensues at verb because they didn’t know both of them were firefighters and have to work together now. Plus Emmett is chief’s son, he’s closeted and has a girlfriend, so let me just tell you the whole story has been very consistent and exciting and there’s more to come.
Little America (1x08)
Little America is an anthology series adj of funny, sentimental, heartfelt, inspiring, and surprising stories about the lives of immigrants in the United States. Episode 1x08 is about a gay Syrian refugee dreams of being granted asylum in the United States so he can live openly. Just finished it and it’s brilliant. That one actor from Class who played a gay is in it too. Kelly Clarkson songs! It’s really good.
Mo and Edd IndyFan1 I’ve been watching Y&R on-and-off for the past 35 yrs but can’t remember a strong gay storyline. Have they ever done one? I remember Philip III turned out to be gay but the revelation seemed to happen when he was away (presumed dead). Then, there was a brief s/l where Adam pretended to be gay - I think to throw off suspicion for something. MissSudsy2 Sadly, I can’t see Y/R being bold enough to handle such a s/l. Hey! Pair Chelsea w/ Chloe! There you go! Their grief brought them together! Sinny3 I hate that Y&R is not heroic enough to really tackle a gay couple. I think the way they’ve handled Pelagos and the couple in Ardenweald have been fine. They’re just great characters that Y&R and Gay Storylines
Just wondering if there has been a strong s/l and if people would accept it or not.
Personally I watch Y&R for a bit of fantasy so I don’t necessarily require the s/l on the show. However, I also don’t mind when the show tackles complicated subjects. + Gay Concise Stories to browse
