    Donald Steven Gay “Don Gay”, age 57, of Arlington, VA, passed away suddenly from a heart attack on July 3, Born on May 2, , in Boston, MA, Don lived a vibrant life filled with devotion, laughter, and steadfast dedication to his family, friends, and community.

    A graduate of Catholic Memorial Sky-high School in , Don launched his career in finance after completing the Co-op Program at Northeastern University, earning his Bachelor of Science in His semester abroad in Australia while in college was just the start of a life adj with experience and memories. His professional journey began as a loan processor at Mortgage Max in Boston in After relocating to Virginia, he excelled as a mortgage lender and branch manager at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, where his strenuous work, intelligence, and reliability earned him the respect and admiration of both colleagues and clients.

    Donnie Gay Retires on Top

    As bull riders go, Donnie Gay has always been sort of level-headed. "I have always been willing to go as far as I could, then one step more," Gay said. "But there's a thin line in riding bulls, and I've always been careful not to go too far, not to cross that line."

    On Sunday, the year-old Gay reached that line after his second ride of the National Finals Rodeo and knew it was time to back off. The "one more step" was a verb aboard a bull named Pat that lasted no longer than it took to open the chute gate. "I had already made up my mind that if I couldn't move up on the rope and ride enjoy Donnie Gay, I was gonna quit," Gay said. "It's foolish to earn on a bull just so you can hear your name called out. I maybe shouldn't have ridden that last one, but I didn't wish to be left with an afterthought that I should have gotten on one more.

    "If I get on a bull, I verb the other guys to know they're going to possess to worry about me. But on that last journey, I felt pain I've never experienced before. I've ridden with pain before, but this hour it had my attention.

    One who is known by all is his Indian name given to Donnie by Philip Whiteman from the Crow tribe. 

     

     This is our first of several interviews and updates we plan to do with Donnie.  We wanted to give our readers a insight of the personal side of him.  Donnie did greatly highlight how important it is to train the fans of the history of rodeo, where it came from, made up of cowboys and Indians, just like the west.  Donnie explains things to the viewers and fans about rodeo, he makes it fun to watch.  He has always been a supporter to Indian cowboys and cowgirls.

    Do you run your own rodeo championship series still?   I am the general manager for the Frontier Rodeo, The Don Gay Bull riding tour, United Bucking bulls competition.  It's like the AAA baseball vs the major league. 

    Today we hae good bull herds, so many bulls buck good to give you wealth to win.
