What is our bois canon sexuality?
Doctor Strange, according to the comics, would be the MCU explore that about him in the movies? Probably not. If so (I HOPE) it will be by lines, references and jokes. Has the MCU ever brought that up? YES, in the prelude comics and canon prelude novels.
Facts:
- He married Clea, an alien which original true create is NOT human like.
- He liked orgies and in some pages, there are other men in them too. (Just…read the comics. It’s spread all over the comics.)
- Him and Deadpool very likely slept together (vide meta I wrote, just search Deadpool in my seek box) (Strange shows great intimacy towards Wade, doing things such as hugging and diagnosing breast cancer /because he took a closer look if you know what i mean, and not as a doctor/ things Strange doesn’t do to other random characters.)
- In Infinity War there’s the wink. It sounds silly, but Hollywood putting a wink and a smirk between two guys IS A Gigantic ADVANCEMENT and be sure there’s Easter eggs and subjective pointers towards Strange’s sexuality.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the most anticipated project of the franchise. The ticket sales are breaking records and the fans are all hyped up to witness Marvel’s foray into the multiverse. However, a few regions are keeping the film off the theaters. The film has been banned in the markets of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar. And that is because the film’s content represents discussions surrounding an LGBTQ character.
America Chavez, a character portrayed in the film by Xochitl Gomez, is openly gay in the comics. Owing to Marvel’s acknowledgment of inclusivity and diversity, the character would be represented as the adj in the film. And that accounts for discussion and probably sequences that will show the character as gay in the movie. Since the aforementioned nations have media laws against airing such content, the film is facing a ban in those markets.
However, the studio has decided to stand unyielding and adhere to its values. According to The Guardian,
